April Fool's Day fun! - WORKPLACE jokes - Prank ideas - Fun for kids - Tricks to replace food/drinks, urine cups, fake can goods, cat turds

It's that time of year again!!! Mwahahaha!

I started by telling my soon to be 15 year old that they changed the age for driving permits to 16 years old. Now he would need to wait another year to start practicing and definitely could not practice this summer. I had a whole elaborate story and sold it pretty well. I kept it going all morning but fessed up before he got really upset. :) Lol!

I was really excited because April Fool's Day hasn't landed on a school day since 2016! This meant pranks in their school lunches.
Fake out food in their lunch.
Note on the napkin at the bottom of their lunch box.

Remember the box I sent my Mom and the sneaky gift idea? Well I did it again, I emptied small pop top cans from the bottom and replaced contents with their normal snacks and fruit. They had a can of diced water chestnut, pieces & stems mushrooms, chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, and corned beef hash.

I was originally going to empty all the cans but after I opened the corned beef hash I decided to leave that one with the real contents. Lol!

Sealed the bottom of the cans with hot glue.

I did write OPEN IF YOU DARE on the top as a little warning for the corned beef hash.
It smelled like cat food and a gross solid constancy.

I bagging their sandwiches in 8 zip lock bags and then saran wrapped them.

The cans weren't enough so I included some fresh chilled urine samples. Haha!

I still have a ton of sample cups left over from our last two Halloween parties in 2016 & 2017.

Urine cups were filled with lemon jello this time. I added a little more yellow food color to give it that uriney look.

What's funny is I made extras and brought them to work to fill the fridge.

I stacked them up and on people's food with dates and ranging times. I started the date/times the night before and told them the doctor needed 24 hrs of samples and I have to mail them after work. I kept them in my lunch bag and added an new one to the fridge every time I went to the bathroom. LOLOLOL!!!! It was the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!

Photo is after lunch. I couldn't risk getting caught taking a pic before. :)

Remember my kitty litter cake with cat turds? Well I just made the cat turds. I put them in my kids school lunch in a ziploc with a tag labeled cat turds.

For work I put them in a corner in the bathroom. After they were discovered I had everyone go look and kept trying to look closer. Everyone was yelling, DON'T TOUCH IT!" As toilet paper was being grabbed to be cleaned up, I pick a piece up (strategically placed on top) and I licked it.
LMAO!!!! Facial expression = priceless!

AND I replaced my son's apple juice with tea.

AND I replaced the orange juice with mac n cheese powder mix.

AND I made pizza for dinner and dessert was also pizza. Cookie dough, icing and fruit roll-ups to look like pizza.

What a successful day!

Surprise APRIL FOOL'S DAY package for Nana/Grandma - {{Hugs & Kisses}} Sneaky "We miss you" treat - Fun IDEA for the kids

The boys love to send their Nana little packages because she always sends them. They know how exciting it is to receive a little surprise in the mail.

This is what she will open tomorrow for April Fool's Day.
{{MOM STOP READING IF YOU SEE THIS}}
Lol. She sometimes reads my blog.

I love hiding things in something that look like something else. Remember the bread post? I feel I'm obsessed. Random items I often question if something else will fit.

I've also used these pop top cans (label removed) for holding little gifts and they are always a huge hit. I have a post {{unfinished}} all about it.  Whomp whomp. :/

HERE'S A VIDEO ON PICKING THE CANS

How to pick the pop top can. You want the cans that are three pieces. Top, middle, bottom. Those have a little lip on the bottom that you can use a can opener on. If it's just two pieces you won't be able to open the can.

NOTE: OPEN THE CAN BUT STILL LEAVE THE LID ATTACHED
This makes it so easy to close and seal at the end

Open and removed contents. Clean and dry really well.

Don't throw contents out!!!!!
I store in containers and use later. Some items I have to get a little creative when planning just to use and others will be great sides for dinner.

I took this pic of the boys to add inside of the cans

Cut them down to size to fit each can. All three have the same photo. Really cute if I changed it up but didn't think of it until we were putting them together.

I decided to attach the photo to the top of the pop top. This way when she opens the can the photo comes out too. I folded the very top of the photo and hot glued it down.

What's inside the cans you ask???

Hugs and kisses!!! The boys punched out 200+ hearts and they wrote KISS or HUG on each one. There are 100 of each. I counted. ALL. OF. THEM. This would've been a great job for them but I finished everything really late.

Then a giant heart note that folds down to a little envelope. Instructions for the envelope HERE

The envelope went in first. Then all the hugs and kisses.
The other two cans have a mix of hersey hugs and kisses. :)

Used Easter grass to pack the bottom. This keeps everything in place and when sealing it keeps the hot glue off everything inside.

Hot glue edges. Doesn't matter if it doesn't look great. No one looks at the bottom until it's opened.

Boxed and ready to send. She is instructed not to open until tomorrow! Boys can't wait to see what she thinks. :)

Sneak peek of my arsenal for tomorrow!!!! Boys better be ready!

Sorry for the bad lighting and splicing. Really quick vid to show you what pranks, fake out food and other fun stuff for the boys tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great April Fool's Day!

Thank you for stopping by!
