PINEAPPLE bags - LUAU theme party favors - Super cute - EASY ideas for planning parties

I'm planning a LUAU theme bingo at our local retirement residence at the end of the month and here are the favor bags. I've seen some similar ideas but the perfectionist kicked in and I needed them all to be EXACTLY the same as much as possible. Lol! 

They are just brown paper lunch sacks painted green and yellow with marker lines. I used twine to tie.

 Inexpensive to make and so super cute!

I test run everything!!! Here is my test bag with colors, top cut, and marker shades. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do metallic gold and green and if the top cut would look cute when tied. Sometimes I over think it and then can't decide. 

Final decision.....I used Festive Green & Cadmium Yellow.

Before starting I put the bag next to a finished bag to make sure they were all the same. :)

Painted, let dry and cut top, drew lines. Easy peasy!

Finished by used twine to tie each bag. I love them!!!

What did I fill them with??

Most of the residents can't have popcorn so I bagged Pirates Booty.

Keychain, Lindor chocolate, personalized wrapped Hershey Minatures, and a chocolate dipped Oreo.

COOKIE printable tag - Teacher Appreciation Week Idea/Gift - THANKS - Quick, Easy, Inexpensive - Fun for the kids

I know....dipped oreos AGAIN! I told you, they are not only addictive to eat but to make as well. So easy and presentation wise they look amazing. I can dip a hundred of these in no time.

LOOK!!! I matched the sprinkles with the tags. {{Squeal}} That's my happy squeal which I think sounds more like a high pitch long E. Usually my hands fly around or up and I look crazy. I'm a bad hand talker as it is and when you get my squeal it all gets bigger. 

Last year we handed these out to EVERY teacher!

CARE package - Make them EXTRA SPECIAL - Put a smile on their face!

I love sending little packages and postcards throughout the year. Most of my family is out of state that I don't get to see very much. ((sad face)) BUT I want to make sure they know we are thinking of them and miss them very much.  I just recently sent these for a birthday and thank you 

I always try to make it really colorful and add little messages around the box flaps. 

I didn't on these because of time but I usually make my own custom paper shreds. I designed the font and length to print on colored paper, front and back. Then put it through my shredder (not cross shred) making long strips. Both sides of the strip have the custom message. Then I take 5-7 strips and zig zag them back and forth. Yes, time consuming but so worth it! I've gotten so many amazing compliments from it.

I made these last year and the kids loved them! I'm making the same this year but using school colors instead of the sunny yellow and rainbow colors. 

It all started at my bake shop when I saw this....

Ahhhhhhh....I love rainbows and was instantly draw over to all the colors

I filled the bags with each color of Sixlets candy (chocolate center and candy coating.) YUM! They can be found at any party store too. I like this shop because I can pick out just the right amount needed.

I found these bags online HERE. They are 1x8 1.6mil (100 bags) They fit M&M's (original reason for purchase) but the sixlets fit perfect too! $4.00 for 100 and they say $35 min purchase but I only spent $14.00 including shipping. (200 bags)

They have tabs to seal but since I wasn't filling the bags to the top so I cut them off.

I made these cute little tags that said, "Hope you have a BALL this summer!"

Used my favorite punch 1 7/16 scalloped lever punch by recollections

I placed a piece of double sided tape inside the bag and pressed it closed leaving most of the tape still out. I took one side of the tag and attached it to the tape and matched the other side of the tag and attached it to the other side of the tape. One piece of double sided tape closed the bag and attached both sides of the tag! This is why I LOVE double sided tape!

I used just the yellow polka-dots for the back of the tag. The scallop made it a little difficult to match up so you can just use a round punch to make it easier.

 Since I print at a local 1hr photo lab it has coding and dates on the back. I decided to make it front and back to cover that up.

Used double sided tape to attach them. 

The tea bag was a little long and covered the THANKS and apple so I folded the bottom and attached with double sided tape.

Easy peasy!
