OCTOBER Anti-Bullying Campaign - POSTER IDEAS

October is National Bullying Prevention Month and both schools had an anti-bullying campaign going on all month. Here are the posters the boys made.

4th grade

UPDATE!!! This poster WON for all of 6th grade!!! They had his poster up on a big screen and he went in front of the entire 6th grade during an assembly to announce the winner and he was presented with a Best Buy gift card. OVER THE TOP thrilled!!!
6th grade

Printed some pictures to cut out

Found these adhesive glitter letters ((love them)) at Micheal's Craft Store

Turned out cute and only took about 25 mins

We were going to use the same black and red letters but were missing some and the store was sold out of those colors...DOH!

Cat "helping"

Ended up using black and gold

Printed shoe pictures, cut them out and put letters down. The longest part was finding the different shoes. Everything else was easy.

They both did a great job....with a little (tiny) help from me :)

Thank you for stopping by!

    1. I just did a search for top view of shoes. I wanted something with no name brand markings (even though the shoes are recognizable) to distract from the poster. Hope that helps.

  16. love this idea! what is a good size to print the photos out as?

    1. I pretty sure we used a half size poster board and the photos are two 5x7's. I used the same photo and flipped it in a photo program. If ordering from a 1hr photo place they might have an edit tool that allows you to do it with them before printing.

  29. I am the leader of a Girl Scout brownie troop, and our girls have decided to do an anti-bullying project for their Take Action project. We are making bracelets, and I would love to be able to hand out small cards with your poster images on them to go along with the bracelets. If you give me permission, can you tell me how to access a file with the two posters? Or I could also just use a jpeg

  30. Sorry! I just read your reply to another person about the files. If it's okay with you, can I copy the image of the shoe poster and use for the cards to hand out?

  32. Elena, I love the Stand Up poster! I'm teaching my students about the Holocaust and I relate it to them at lunch and recess, when they need to stand up for each other, so nothing like the Holocaust can ever happen again. Would you give me permission to use it, and if so, a clue as to where to get the shoe pictures (I can get the letters). So inspirational!

  38. Hi

I absolutely love this poster! I'd like permission to download the image for the Don't Stand By to print as an example my Year 9 son would like his school to display to encourage the students that see, hear bullying but do nothing to be more accountable for their lack of action! We would like to see the culture change. Making it not ok to stand by! Thanks for considering my request.
