Zebra themed chocolate dipped Rice Krispies Treats with hot pink bling sticks - cute party idea - no bake treat

I made these for our Red Carpet themed bingo a couple years ago and they were such a big hit. I decided to try a zebra print theme this time.

Bling sticks are great for dipped marshmallows, Rice Krispies Treats, candy apples, lollipops, Oreos, cake pops, or any treat on a stick.

What you need to make bling treat sticks:
Bling ribbon or diamond wrap
4" paper or lollipop sticks
Hot glue gun and glue sticks

I searched Amazon for diamond ribbon and found several sizes and colors.

When measuring make sure you leave enough space at the end of the stick to add the treat.

I used 4" sticks and counted 13 faux rhinestones of ribbon.

I found this 1" bling ribbon at Dollar Tree. The other ribbon I used was 3/4" so I needed to trim a row off lengthwise. The width only needs to be four faux rhinestones.

Add hot glue to the first row and place the stick.

Next add hot glue to the last row and roll the stick until the first and last row are touching. Gently press to down to secure the hot glue.

DONE!

What you need to make the zebra themed treats:
Mini Squares Rice Krispies Treats
Black and white Candy Melts
Wilton icing tip #1 or #2

Melt candy melts and dip the stick just to cover the very end.

Insert into Rice Krispies Treats and let dry.

Melt candy melts and dip.

Let dry. You can place in the fridge for 3-5 mins.

Melt black candy melts and draw zebra lines. I started with Wilton tip #3 and it was way too large. I move down to a #2 tip but I think the #1 will give you more control to make thinner lines.

Bagged and added a zebra ribbon. Ribbon purchased from Micheal's craft store.

Halloween wedding bouquet idea - HOW TO MAKE tutorial - SKULLS & black roses - Gothic themed bridal accessory

I helped a friend with her Halloween themed wedding and last minute I decided to make a flower bouquet.
I love how it turned out!

I used the leftover black roses and skulls from the table centerpiece decorations.

Purchased a strofoam half ball at Micheal's craft store.

I had leftover black styrofoam safe spray paint from a previous Halloween craft.

Used black 1 1/2 inch satin ribbon for the handle.

I spray painted the half ball black and cut the roses off the vine. I also removed the leaves but ended up only using the roses.

I didn't have a dowel wide enough so I cut down a PVC pipe from my zombie skeletons.
The leg...lol!

Hot glued a piece of ribbon over the bottom.

Used the PVC pipe to twist a hole in the center of the half ball.

Removed the center.

Used lots of hot glue to attach the PVC pipe into the bottom of the base.

I cut 7" strips of ribbon to cover the bottom of the base.

Hot glued to make loops.

Attached the ends with hot glue to the PVC pipe. Make sure you leave enough so the loop goes all the way to the edge of the base.

Hot glued to attach the loop to the base.

Repeat until bottom of the base is covered.

Start at the bottom of the PVC pipe and wrap the ribbon towards the bottom of the base.
Wrap a little and hot glue, wrap a little more and hot glue. Repeat.

Once all the ends of the loops are covered, cut the ribbon. Fold the end and hot glue in place. This will give it a clean edge.

Ready to start decorating.

I placed all the roses in the styrofoam first for spacing. Once I had it figured out, removed and hot glued in place.

The skulls were too thick and stuck out past the roses.

I decided to cut the skulls in half with an exacto knife.

Hot glued the skull in place.

Added more roses.

And more roses.

I thought about adding more skulls but it looked too busy. I ended up only using four with the rest roses.

I love that it matches the table centerpieces.
