DIY Table Topiary - {{hot pink & zebra}} Super cute PARTY decoration idea!!!

I made these for table top centerpieces and they turned out so cute!

See my matching GUEST BOOK FRAME post

Floral foam, mini pots, ribbon, styrofoam balls, dowels, hot glue gun and glue, scissors, shredded paper, stick pins (ball or flat), spray paint

I used a flat black spray paint

Then used glitter blast to add some sparkle

It works so much better if you use the same size ribbon or close to the same size. I had two that were really thin but sparkly to add a little filler.

I don't remember how long these are but I made the loop and placed it on the ball to make sure they weren't too large. Maybe a little over 2 inches.

I like to pre-loop and add the stick pin so assembling goes faster. This is the long tedious part.

Since these were for the table I used 2 1/2 inch balls

I prefer the stick pins with the ball on the top. At the end you can't see them and they are a little easier on the fingers.

I put them close and alternating direction.

I held the ball until I got about half way

Then I wrapped a dowel in ribbon

And hot glued in place

I added and hotglued floral foam cut into squares in the bottom of the pots. I stuck the dowel in and hot glued it as well and covered the floral foam with paper shreds.
I found these diamond stick pins and added a few to each topiary

I made the last few on our drive into town. This was my car work station :)

I made tags for the top that had the event and date.

Cute, right!?

    1. I wish I knew. I bought some to test the colors and then bought way more then I needed when they went on sale a couple times. I don't even have a round about number. I know the width of ribbon I used was perfect. Any smaller and this project would've taken forever and way more rolls. Sorry I couldn't help more.

    1. I'm sorry I don't remember and they didn't have it on the pot. They were just under a dollar at Micheal's craft store. Hope that helps.
