Part 2 -OCTOBER -Breast Cancer Awareness MONTH - IDEAS - Pink Ribbon bling lanyards TEACHER gifts

The boys gave THESE Breast Cancer Awareness gifts to their teachers earlier this month but I found something else.

With all that sparkle they were practically calling me from across the store. {{Look at me! MUST BUY!}}
The boys gave similar ones out the last couple years but for teacher appreciation week.

These were bling and they had pink ribbon charms!

Plus, part of the proceeds go to the Komen Foundation dedicated to education and research about causes, treatment, and the search for a cure. SOLD! I might need to add shopaholic to my list of crazy disorders. Nah! :)

Made custom gift tags with To: and From: for each teacher

I didn't want the back to be blank so I made a solid glitter tag. Can't go wrong with more sparkle.

Teachers loved them!
Yay!

OCTOBER -Breast Cancer Awareness MONTH - IDEAS - Pink Ribbon Pins and gifts

The last two years I posted the teacher gifts the boys handed out for Breast Cancer Awareness and this year is no different.

A little over a week and a half ago my older son's second grade teacher lost her battle with breast cancer. I can't even imagine the fear when multiple treatments fail. I can't imagine the heartache of knowing you will leave behind a husband and two year old son. I can't imagine the pain your body goes through in your final days. Tears stream down my face just thinking what this family is going through.

Taken way too soon.

The boys colored their hair and wearing pink for all of October.

Supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, honoring the taken and never, never giving up hope!

It's time to find a cure!

I originally was only including socks and bracelets (found at Michael's) but the rest of September I kept finding things to add.

Pins, pens, ribbons, straws, bracelets, socks, bracelets for the men (Real Men Wear Pink,) glitter stickers, bags and custom tags

The boys handed these out to all the rest of the teachers

I saved the straws for DIPPED MARSHMALLOWS

Bagged with a ribbon

Personalized To: and From: tags and DONE!

This was when the teacher at his school went on hospice in September. He started with a lighter pink to honor her.

Chocolate Dipped VALENTINE'S DAY Oreos! Super cute gift idea! Glitter & chocolate transfer sheets.

I've made these before and shared the how to make part. Check out these two links for more details.

This is what I'm doing for Valentine's Day for friends, neighbors, and teachers.

I LOVE how they turned out!!!!

Yup, the edible holographic glitter AGAIN! I can't help it, I'm in love. Still can't capture the awesome sparkle. :(

Instead of the transfers and glitter, you could drizzle pink and red chocolate melts or put a heart sprinkle in the middle.

Bagged each one individually. I used the same bags as for the dipped marshmallows

Added a cute pink and silver ribbon.

And of course I found a glitter box. This one was from Michael's for $1.19.

Matched perfectly and I loved all the glitter.

Added the same pink ribbon from the Oreo bags to the outside of the box and done!

Hope this gives you some inspiration. Let me know if you have any questions.
