DRUNK Gummy Bears {{individual serving size}} - How to make tutorial - GNO, 21st Birthday, Super Bowl, or Bachelorette party IDEA!

Holy moly! These things are DAN-GER-OUS!

UPDATE: After 5 days they didn't soak up all the (3/4 oz) vodka but they are HUGE! I ended up pouring out the excess vodka into the big batch. The big batch doesn't soak up evenly and most were a lot smaller than the individual serving size. Conclusion - They get more drunk with just a few friends and less drunk in a big group. Got it?!

I just started making them yesterday for the Super Bowl this weekend. Recipes I've seen say 3-5 days minimum. I'm one day in and the outside is chewy but the inside is still really hard. They are super strong. I can taste the vodka but my hubby says it's his new favorite candy. :)

I'm thinking GNO, Bachelorette party, Christmas party, New Year's Eve, 21st Birthday, etc!

Gummi Bears, Vodka and a bowl or tupperware with a lid

I decided on mini shot glasses with lids. I'm thinking flu season and bringing them to a party where everyone is sticking their hands in the bowl....ummm....NO THANK YOU! This was my solution and I love it!

I promise I'm really not a germophob but I like the idea of personal serving size.

Since both teams have blue (Denver - Blue & Orange and Seattle - Blue & Green) I went with their other colors. I would like to say this was all me but it was my hubby's idea. It came about when I was ranting the gummi bears didn't come in blue. He saved the day or at least got me to be quiet.

I put four in each container. Now it's only day one and they are strong. I figured if people wanted more they could get a second or third one. And if they are a light weight like me, they will be drunk by cup three. YIKES!

I decided to measure out 3/4 oz to put in each cup.

Getting the gummies drunk :) Get it? Mini vodka bottles. ((I know, way too much time with these gummy bears))

At first it looks like a lot of vodka but again, day one and they are soaking it up pretty good.

Place in the fridge and wait.

I made these team tags to go on the top

And I think I'll print these smaller tags to go on the side of the cups

And the leftover gummy bears?

We made a batch for us! For taste testing or scientific research of course.
I put them in a large bowl and covered the gummy bears with vodka.

If you are going to make these for this weekend START NOW!!! They need 3-5 days to absorb all the Vodka.

Have fun & enjoy!!!

Bite Size THANKSGIVING treats - SPICE CAKE dessert - MAKES a bunch

I made these Friday for a teacher luncheon but they would be perfect for Thanksgiving. Super cute, right!? Plus I'm pretty sure that when a dessert is this small calories won't count. Well, that's what I tell myself. :)

Layered spice cake, cream cheese icing and topped with whip cream....yum {{drool}} :)

I used plastic shot glasses and these cute little spoons I found at the grocery store.

First I made a spice cake or pumpkin bread would be good too.

I used one of the shot glasses to punch out circles from the cake

If you have trouble getting it out use a knife along the edge to pull it out

I then cut the cake pieces into threes (top, middle and bottom)

I have a few decorating tips but I decided to use the filling tip since it was longer. It's normally used to put filling into a cupcake.

I used a ziplock bag with the corner cut off, add my tip and I'm ready to go. I placed the bottom piece of cake in first, then added a layer of icing.

I continued with the middle piece of cake, another layer of icing and then the top piece of cake.

Topped them off with whip cream or you could use more icing.

Added the little spoons

Made tags that said, "Thankful for LTE Teachers" for our school

I dropped them off Friday morning but I'm sure they were a hit!
