DIY Bunting greeting card - HAPPY BIRTHDAY - FREE download - cute HOMEMADE banner idea

I love to mail cards but they can get expensive. Especially cards that have little decorations or raised embellishments.

I created a digital file to print and cut out to create this cute bunting greeting card.

I sent the file to our local 1 hr photo lab. Printed 2 4x6 prints.

I cut out each letter leaving a little white around the edges but you can cut them out completely.

I folded and cut a piece of white card stock measuring about 5x7 to fit the envelope I had.

Hot glue two strips of ribbon or cords. Layout the letters first to make sure you have enough room before attaching.

I used some 2mm leftover foam with a sticky back. I would've used white but you couldn't see the them.

I used a hold punch to cut out the foam dots. Attached the sticky side on the letter and hot glued the non-sticky side and attached to the card.

It's hard to tell but all the little flags are raised off the card. So cute!

I finished the rest of the letters and trimmed the ribbon down and wrapped around the edge. Attached with hot glue.

ZOMBIES! Yearly Family Photos - HALLOWEEN - photography - {{BEWARE}} creepy/bloody - OUTTAKES

So, I know it's hard to tell from all the Halloween ZOMBIES, PARTIES, DEAD BODIES, DECORATIONS that we absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween.

Our family tradition for Halloween is to take family zombie pictures!!! We look forward to this every year and if the make-up wasn't so labor intensive, we would do a Christmas one too. We plan a theme and use the photos for a Halloween card. So much fun!  Can't wait to post this years photo but for now lets take a look back on past photos. Awe! Look at my little zombies getting so big :)

Oh and sorry for all the watermarks. I'm having a problem with people taking my small little watermark out and stealing my photos and using as their own and even advertising with them. :/ {{not a happy blogger}}

I used the top photo as the stamp on the postcard. We had lots of looks driving around town that day. Lol!

2013 Family BBQ

KIDS Valentine's Day Card - non-candy idea for a School / Class PARTY - Fake mustache

Here is a cute and easy non-candy Valentine's Day card idea.

I LOVE how these turned out! I was going to just print 4x6 pics and attach the mustache but after the photoshoot I spent the extra money and ordered double sided card stock cards :/ Pricey...yes but 1hr photo printing just didn't do them justice.

BACK

I found these mustaches at a local party store for .19 cents

I was going to attach them over their face to match the mustaches in the picture to look 3D but the double sided tape would tear the card when the kids took it off. :( I just stapled them to the back.

Now what we did for Valentine's Day....

I wanted to share this WAY before Valentine's Day but I didn't get much of it done until the night before. Posting for ideas for next year.

The boys hand out chocolate dipped marshmallows too!!!

I made cute Happy Valentine's Day tags for the marshmallows.
I used a 1 7/16 scalloped lever punch by recollections (purchased at Michael's) or a 1" circle punch.

Remember THESE rubber band bracelets my son was obsessed making!? He made Valentine's Day ones for the girls.....yes, GIRLS with a S!!!! Oh dear! 3rd grade and I'm in trouble :/

Little box of chocolates, dipped marshmallow, and the bracelet in a small pink bag.

We also made something similar for all the teachers with Lindor truffles.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day PHOTO IDEAS for BOYS/kids - personalized cards

Pre-made cards work great because the kids usually just care about the candy attached, right!? Every year I'm so torn. I just love the look of personalized photo cards and try to plan with plenty of time ....and others....well, last year I made them THE DAY BEFORE!!!!
It's a little more time consuming but the feedback and excitement from the kids is priceless.

I started making these cute little Valentine's when my oldest son started Kindergarten. Each one is personalized and we always made two different cards. One for boys and one for girls :) We attached a fun dip to the back of each card.

I did these so last minute and he only had a white shirt that fit...ugh. Looks better with red or black background or a black shirt.

The cards for the boys and girls only differed by one or two pictures
