RAINBOW donuts - Quick & Easy - St. Patrick's Day Breakfast IDEA - Lucky with a pot of gold

I always do a fun breakfast for St. Patrick's day and this year it's donuts!

I wanted quick and easy. :) Or Lazy. Lol!

Two scoops of icing, green food coloring and mix. Heat in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.

I only dip once and place on parchment paper.

I cut 1.5-2" from each strip.

Add a little icing (that wasn't microwaved) at each end and make an arch. It won't be that stable so use marshmallows to hold it in place.

I started with one mini marshmallow on the inside of each side. Then add as many as you want.

I used 5 marshmallows per side.

Added a rolo candy in the center as the pot of gold. The boys actually only ate the donut and saved the candy for later.

Birthday DECORATING at the OFFICE - cubical / desk idea - SURPRISE your Co-Worker / Boss - streamers, balloons, cake

I work in a small office and I love to celebrate birthdays AND I love the chance to decorate. {{please let me decorate!!!}} Last week we had a birthday and here's what I did. :)

I came in late in the day after everyone left but I think this could easily be prepped ahead of time.

Streamers $.87 each at HEB
Balloons
Painters tape
Ribbon

I measured one streamer from the ceiling to the floor to get the length and used that to measure all the rest.

I created a pattern of colors and stapled them all together.

I used 5 balloons but you could do way more. I tied each balloon on a ribbon to give it more flexibility just in case I pulled the streamers tighter and it also hid any mistakes. I used one streamer out of order by accident and it twisted everything but you couldn't see it.

We have a drop down ceiling with acoustical tiles in our office. I just lifted one tiles and tucked the balloons and the group of streamers next to the balloons. Start with one streamer and kept the color pattern going.

Slightly twist as you work your way down to the floor.

I attached to the floor, desk, and wall with painters tape. It's not pretty but I wanted it to be easy to remove as well as not leave residue on the desk or wall.

Filled her desk with balloons

and the cake

Everyone loved it and the birthday girl kept calling it her "cage." Lol!

I also made a KITTY LITTER cake for her because "She's the SH*T!"
Turned out to be a CRAPPY day so we made puns all day. A few years before I made her dog poo cupcakes with the same theme.

A few months earlier I ordered these custom donuts for another birthday and they were
AH-MAZING!
Fun and colorful!

Thanksgiving BREAKFAST treat! Two cute ideas! ACORN donuts and Fall Themed Cinnamon Rolls

Thanksgiving morning is always hectic but once the turkey is in the oven and the stuffing is made I have a little down time to make something special for breakfast.....SUGAR!!! Well, it's a special fun day for everyone so what the heck. :)

Acorn Donuts

These are surprisingly quick, easy and not messy. NOT at all what I would've thought.

Sprinkles and a can of frosting

Remove lid and stir to loosen it up. 30 secs in the microwave.

Donut holes and pretzel sticks broken in half

Dip in frosting and shake remaining off, dip in sprinkles and stick the pretzel in the top. Place on wax paper to dry.

EASY PEASY!!!!

So cute!!!

Favorite of the bunch was the turtle crunch sprinkles (carmel flavor sold at Micheal's craft store), then the chocolate sprinkles next. The other two were a tie.

Super happy taste testers!

Cinnamon Rolls with a fall theme

Super easy!!!

Cinnamon rolls, food color and sprinkles

I planned on using the yellow and red to make a darker orange but I added enough yellow to make this color. I didn't end up using the red.

Bake cinnamon rolls according to the package

Apply icing and add sprinkles

DONE! They turned out to be a huge hit with the kids.

Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
