BIG test coming up? Help kids ease STRESS & ANXIETY - DIY testing bag - Test day prep ideas - card, treats, stress relief ball

Have you seen testing bags?

I saw this idea when we volunteered to make testing bags for all the students at a charter school. I sat down ready to start and thought it was about about testing them. Maybe a pre-test before the test???

Lol! It's not.
It's a care package to help ease stress and anxiety from testing.

This could be for a big spelling or vocabulary test, standardized state tests, midterms, finals, SAT, ACT, etc. It can be stressful leading up to the "big day."

I thought this was such a neat idea so I made one for my son before he took his SAT.

Here are some ideas:

Encouraging card

Snack & small water.

My boys love trail mix.

Lol! This made me laugh.

Lollipop

Pencils (pre-sharpened)

Stress ball (homemade or store bought)

We used rice to make them for the charter school but I used baking soda.

I made an easy DIY stress relief ball and wrote "squeeze me" on it.

Balloons, baking soda, and funnel.

I cut the end off an empty water bottle to make the funnel.

Fill with baking soda. Leave enough room at the top to tie the balloon.

I put everything in a small bag in his favorite color. I really wanted to write all over it with good luck and do your best, but thought that would be too embarrassing.

He also had a place for his calculator, ticket to enter, and identification.

PICK A POP Carnival booth game for kids - EASY & FUN PARTY games - free printable - sucker / lollipop with a blue dot - DIY

We run a little booth for the library every spring and our table has a game to attract people over to talk about supporting the library. We tried a spinning wheel with book questions one year but when we had a bunch of kids it  got a little confusing.

We wanted a game with:

  • easy prep time
  • easy set-up
  • inexpensive
  • easy to run ...AND
  • fun for the kids

We decided on PICK A POP! We've been doing this game for two years now and the kids love it.

So easy. The game is played by picking a pop (obviously...lol) and IF it has a blue dot on the bottom you win a prize and the pop. IF it doesn't, you still get to keep the pop. WIN WIN game and everyone is happy. Well, the first year I really felt bad for the siblings that didn't get a blue dot.

This year EVERY POP HAD A BLUE DOT!!! {{shhhhhhh...don't tell}}

It was funny when the adults would finally click that they are ALL blue after standing at the table for few minutes. Lol. It makes for a really fun day!

Supplies:

Lollipops
Blue sharpie or ink pad

I tried the ink pad and it took forever to dry so I prefer the sharpie.

I sat with the box of pops and sharpie and colored while watching TV.

To display the pops I re-used the same base or stand since 2014!! I've used it for several events and still looks great. How to make it HERE.

Fill the stand and save extras to refill!

Happy Birthday JUMBO lollipop tag - Great present idea - PERSONALIZED

I made these for a few birthday parties the last two weeks and they were such a huge hit.

Tags are printed on 4x6 photo paper and lollipops are from Walgreens for $1

Just trim edges

I attached with hot glue just because that's how I attach it to the package. You could use double sided tape.

See!? Hot glue to the back. This also hide the sugary (non) nutritional info.

Holds really really well. Sucker is heavy but hot glued it doesn't move. You can stand the package up too.

Because I love how these turned out I decided to make some for you guys!!! (Sorry only a limited number) Not sure if I'll get 4 requests or 100 so I'm setting my limit at 10 people and I'll do two custom labels each. You will get a file image emailed to you to reprint at home or send to a photo lab. I will not physically mail you anything. This is only electronic.

FREE custom personalized lollipop labels to create this super cute birthday package accessory!

I gave the option to leave blank so you could maybe change the TO: name by writing it in or a editing program and From: with your child's name. You can also change the To and From text color. Doesn't have to be red.

Please email info above to Craftibilities@gmail.com and I'll send you a personalized 4x6 picture file to print at home or send to a photo lab.

I changed the girl tag to hot pink outline and text to match the present
