GLAZED GLITTER - Mod Podge Dimensional Magic - TUTORIAL/REVIEW

I normally craft stuff that gives me instant results because, well, waiting is no fun! I sucked it up for this one and the results were totally cute!

The pictures don't do it justice. The letters turned out really glossy and smooth.

I made these for a birthday package

Supplies
Mod Podge
paint brush
glitter (I used holographic glitter....oooohhh ahhhhhh)
wooden letters
Mod Podge Dimensional Magic

I bought this a few weeks back and have wanted to try it out.

I first painted the letter with Mod Podge and glittered

I used a piece of paper under the letter to collect the excess glitter. Let dry.

Then I outlined and flooded with the Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. It was like icing a cookie :)
Be careful when outlining not to go over the edge. It's hard to stop it from running over. I had it happen on the center of the A so I just held the end of the paintbrush in place for a few minutes and it stopped.

Package says to give it 24 hrs to dry. Ugh....waiting. Booooo but worth it!

After it was dry I hot glued to the ribbon and package

Ta Da! Super cute!

They ended up taking the letters off and putting them on their Christmas tree.

If you don't have time to glitter Michael's Craft store had pre-glittered letters. I bought some with iridescence glitter. I also saw some today with red.

Thank you for stopping by!
