SUPER EASY National Police Week ideas - FREE INSTANT DOWNLOAD - Extra Gum printable - extraordinary tag - NPW thank you gift idea

Sunday kicked off National Police Week!
I've been bringing the officers little appreciation gifts/treats all week.

Free downloadable/printable below.

I had a few different wordings but ended up liking this one the best.

I found value packs of gum at HEB.
I used the peppermint since the blue matched best.

Print tags at your local Walgreens, CVS, print lab or print at home.

Highly recommend using double sided tape.
Placed a few pieces on the back and attached to the tag.

DONE! So easy!

I pre-made everything earlier in the week until I was ready to drop it off.

2019 National Police Week - MAY 12-18 - FREE Thin Blue Line downloadable tag

Sunday kicked off National Police Week!

President Kennedy commemorated this week in 1962 in recongnition of American law enforcement who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

I have a few things planned this week and thought I would share a new thin blue line tag I made.
Free downloadable/printable below.

I made wrappers for Hershey's Miniatures with the department logo and theme. Similar to the ones I made for the 10 year celebration for the local library. One side of the tag has their badge and the other side I used the thin blue line thank you tag.

FREE DOWNLOAD

4x6 size - 8 circle tags per print.
Print at your local Walgreens, CVS, print lab or print at home.

I used a 1.5 inch craft punch to cut tags.

Dipped Nutter Butter Cookies - THANK a POLICE OFFICER DAY - Show Appreciation & Support! Gift IDEAS - LEO

THANK A POLICE OFFICER Day is coming up September 16th! If you see a police officer remember how much it would mean if you said thank you. It's a great way to show we value them and the protection of our communities.

Our family likes to make cards and bring treats to the police department. One of our favorite things to bring are dipped Nutter Butter Cookies. Oh how I love them! :)
Thin blue line theme

You'll need:
Candy melts
Coconut oil (optional but it makes the melts easier to work with)
Nutter Butter cookies
Parchment paper or foil (parchment paper works better)
Bags & ribbon

Dip cookies and let dry

Candy melts to decorate

I always like to start with the darker color

Little note to show our appreciation

Send the file to a 1 hour photo lab for easy printing.

We also decided to thank the individuals on our street that proudly display blue lights year round to show support for law enforcement. The blue lights convey a message of respect and solidarity with officers and their families.
My boys and I walked to the four houses near ours with these bags of treats and a little note.

Don't mind my miss spelling. Ugh! I did fix it before delivering but didn't fix the photo.

Other ways you can show support:
Wear blue clothing in support of law enforcement.
Send a card of support to your local police department.
Share a story about a positive law enforcement experience on social media.
Ask children in your community to write letters in support of law enforcement.
Display a blue light on your house to participate in the Project Blue Light

I think it's important to show support for not only law enforcement but all our service men and women. Don't forget to thank our firefighters, military and veterans. The acknowledgement is greatly appreciated.

POLICE appreciation IDEAS - MUFFIN tag - THANK YOU - Thin Blue Line - Show SUPPORT

This week is coming to a close for National Police Week - May 13th - May 20th. We usually bring lunch one day and treats or small gifts during the week. Here is one idea that can be done year round. The officers greatly appreciate the support....big or small. It really does mean a lot to them.

Look at these cute little tags!!!

You probably recognize these from my Teacher Appreciation posts in the past. They are always a huge hit.

I made these two muffins (Banana Chocolate Chip and Blueberry) which made people start calling me the "overachiever." I'll take it, could be worse. No less of an overachiever, these tags can be added to store bought muffins. No one will ever know. Secret family recipe that you just can not share.

I'm laughing at myself that I'm telling you to lie and this is a police treat idea. Anyway.....

Individually wrapped. Yes, it's a pain and yes, very tedious. Oh but look how cute!

Not sure how many I made because I was delirious by the end. :) My close estimate "felt like" a ton.

Table turned out really nice.

I also made a larger stand up tag to put in front of the muffins. Wouldn't want someone to grab banana when they wanted blueberry. :)

They are not the same tags but the same size. Gives you an idea of how they look on REGULAR muffins too.

I used a 1" lever punch by recollections (purchased at Michael's) to cut tags.
