This is such an unforgettable graduation season. We've been in the house since March 12th so everything was ordered online. I thought I'd share some ideas of how we are trying to make it special for our Class of 2020 senior.

I'm making the 2020 balloon mosaic numbers that will be 5ft tall! Same as the #18 and #16 I recently made. Tutorial HERE. I have templates available for #1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 0. Just email me.

Dollar Tree will deliver and they have a package of 25 - 20x30 foam boards. Even with shipping it was the cheapest I found. Basically the only thing I did not buy on Amazon. I even checked at Wal-Mart and they were both more expensive.

I found this photo banner on Amazon that has a place for a photo from kindergarten to 12th grade. I used the first day of school photos and realized that I lost all of 3rd grade when a hard drive crashed. I found one that I took of both boys that day so I have at least one photo. Fits 4x6 size photos.

I planned on taking cap and gown pics but his hair was way out of control. Plus he was grumpy. This is my son in pajamas, with his cap on, and in the front yard.
ALL EDITED to create his thank you cards.

I wanted more detail by his arm and his hand. My original cutout made his hand look like a blob.

I made folding cards that are blank inside for him to write his thank you notes.

Our gift is a money cake! We thought about a mini fridge or microwave but not sure classes will be on campus this fall.

I was trying to make and even $100 but it's $94 right now. Just a few more finishing touches.
I have two tutorials - round money cake & square money cake

Look at this personalized cake topper from Amazon!! It turned out perfect! It's sturdy and made of acrylic. I'm going to try to pick up an Oreo cake from HEB curbside on Thursday.
I'm decorating the house and serving his favorite dinner while we all gather around the computer for his virtual graduation. Celebrating in our own way!

Congratulations to the entire Class of 2020!
