This turned out sooooo cute!!! I made two large turkeys for the boys to bring to school. One for the teacher lounge at the middle school and the other for a Thanksgiving themed teacher luncheon at the elementary school. HUGE hit!
It can be used to display ANY TREAT ON A STICK!! I made chocolate dipped marshmallows but you could do cake pops, dipped oreos, or fruit! So excited to share!!!!

First I started with the treats!!! Chocolate dipped marshmallows with fall sprinkles.

Supplies
tissue paper (optional)
8x10 or 5x7 turkey print
spray paint (optional)
foam ball
glue gun
clay pot
I don't know the size of the pots but the balls fit deep inside not overlapping the edges. I didn't want the ball to push into the photo.
5x7 print I used a 4 inch ball and the 8x10 print I used a 6 inch ball

I cut the bottom part of the turkey off
This is optional but I didn't like the bright white foam ball. I covered the ball with tissue paper. This would make the color match and easy to poke the marshmallows through.If you spray paint it, use floral or styrofoam safe paint.
NOTE: I hot glued the paper down around the ball and the ball to the pot. BUT it is really top heavy so if it falls over the ball might tear away from the paper and fall out. I choose to do the second one a little different. I hot glued the ball in place first, then covered and glued the paper over. Cut along the edges to remove the excess paper. It didn't look as clean but still looked good.
Hot glued the top of the turkey on the edge of the pot. Then glued the bottom just underneath so the turkey print wouldn't be bent. You can't tell unless you tilt the pot up.
Made tags for each marshmallow. I had to tags so I alternated which one went in front so the teachers could see both. I had two so I used double sided tap and put them on the side of the ribbon. The one for the teacher luncheon I just stuck one tag in the middle.
Now I'm ready to place them. I started in the middle so it would look kinda of symmetrical. (I'm a weirdo I know) but then you just try to squeeze them close together.
