Hug M&M Pretzel BITES - Quick and SUPER EASY Thanksgiving TREAT!

HUG M&M PRETZEL BITES

I've seen these for Christmas but with round pretzels so I bought the supplies and gave it a try.

I couldn't find round pretzels ANYWHERE! Well, online one company that wanted to charge double for shipping for already over priced pretzels. No thank you!

I'm not sure why we can't find them in Texas but I looked at Wal-mart, HEB, Target, Randalls, Whole Foods, and World Market. Then confirmed online when I searched it said they weren't sold in this area. I THINK they might be sold during Christmas but not sure. Will update if I find them.

No round pretzels so I used waffle pretzels instead and it worked out perfect.

They are sooooo easy! The hardest part (not that hard really, especially when you have a helper do it) is unwrapping the hugs.

Supplies:
Hugs
M&M's
Pretzels (round or waffle)
Parchment paper

Why fun size bag? Because I bought the bag after Halloween on clearance for $.22 cents!!! Woooohooo!!!

Then I had this little guy separate them. He was all to happy since he could eat the blue M&M's.

I made him keep the green so we could make these for Christmas too. Heck, I'm thinking green for St. Patricks Day, red and pink for Valentine's Day, pastels for Easter, red and blue for 4th of July, and orange for Halloween. Possibilities are endless!

They are THAT good!

200 degrees for 6-7 minutes. They should still be the same shape. If they start sinking, take them out.

Then press the M&M gently into the hug. It should still keep it's shape. We didn't have any run off the edges.

He made these all by himself (except the oven part)

Some people put them in the fridge but I just let them sit out for a while to dry. It does take a while though.

Bagged up and ready for Thanksgiving! If they last that long. :) I had to buy more hugs just in case.

Thank you for stopping by!

  1. Do these stay together pretty well when all done? Like if I were to place them in a bowl or such.

    1. Oh yes! They stay together very well. I bag them up as little snack bags or a bunch in a bowl.

  2. Can you give a rough estimate of how many treats you were able to make?
